TIME FOR A SPRING CLEAN

IT’S TIME FOR A SPRING CLEAN!

So last week finally brought us wonderful, glorious Spring – and while the sun may be shining a little brighter, your complexion may not be.

WINTER IS A TOTAL SKIN SLAYER.

The dry itchy legs, the desperate need for a pedicure, and the tight, dehydrated feeling all over.

Today, I’m here to share some products that will help you shed your second skin, and reveal your glowing, radiant, super pertyness within!

Spring Clean

IF YOUR FACE IS FEELING TIGHT AND DRY –

try a mega quenching cloth mask. I use regularly and really love Lonvitalite’s Collagen Firming and Moisturising Facial Mask, their 24K Active Gold Yulan Eye Mask, and also their Coconut Milk Hydrating and Nourishing Facial Mask. All three just put so much goodness back into your skin, giving it back that spark and glow. They can either be placed in the fridge first so you can pop it on cool (amazing in summer!), or place the packet into a bowl of warm water for a few mins before application for a cozy and comforting home spa style treat.

If you prefer old school creamy masks, Apivita have an amazing range of masks in handy sachets, making them fantastic for travel. The best of theirs for dull skin is hands down theRevitalising and Radiance Mask with Pomegranite – and yes, it smells INCREDIBLE.

My final awesome mask to share with you, which is specifically just for the eye area is Elemis Absolute Eye Mask. Works a treat on crepey, puffy under-eyes and reduces the look of fine lines with regular use. YEAH BOI.

If you can’t afford a splurge, you can make a super simple but highly effective exfoliating and nourishing face mask at home! This suits all skin types and most likely, you will have all three ingredients in your cupboard RIGHT NOW.

Simply mix one teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil, half a teaspoon of honey, and one teaspoon of bi-carb/baking soda into a small bowl. This will create a paste which you can just apply straight to your face – if you want it thicker, apply more bi-carb/baking soda.

After all this mask work, to soothe skin even more, apply a few drops of rosehip oil to the face before bed – I use both the Antipodes Divine Face Oil Avocado and Rosehip, and Kosmea’s Radiance Youth Boost 24/7 (both as amazing as each other).

Just by upping your daily water intake and using Rosehip Oil alone, you will have more glowing skin within a week. Get on it!
