Skincare in your 30s

The focus of your skincare needs to change when you reach your thirties with your skin starting to show signs of ageing. Your skin doesn’t repair itself as fast as it used to with the production of new skin cells decreasing, making your skincare regime even more important than ever

Your 30s can be a very stressful time in your life with work and kids (the list could go on!), which can cause the increased production of a hormone called cortisol. Cortisol increases the amount of oil produced in your skin and can lead to breakouts.  Now is the time to take some serious action!

Skincare regime:

Moisturise!
Make sure you use a moisturiser that contains sun protection to avoid further damage to your skin.  Look for one that contains antioxidants like green tea or Vitamin C – this will protect your skin from damaging free radicals.

Eye Cream
Eye creams are very important, as the skin under your eyes is the thinnest on your body and is easily damaged and dried out if you’re not paying attention to your eyes. Use the cream all around the eye area to target crows feet and the delicate under eyes.

Night treatment
Night moisturisers are usually a little thicker and heavier than your day creams. Find one that includes Vitamin A to boost collagen production which will help to reduce fine lines and sooth your skin.

Treatments
Apply a face mask once a week to revitalize your skin and give it the extra moisture it needs. Our Lonvitalite C2 Collagen firming and moisturising face mask accelerates skin metabolism, reinforces skin growth, smooth’s out fine lines, and recovers the balance between the skins oil and moisture.
